Mrs Whelport and Mrs Owens both teach in Year 1. Mrs Whelport teaches most days and Mrs Owens teaches on Wednesdays and Tuesday afternoons.
Message from Mrs Whelport...
"At school, I am in charge of Music, PSHE and SEAL (Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning). I love music. I play the piano in assembly at school and organise a recorder club for children at lunchtimes. In my spare time I also play in a band."
Message from Mrs Owens...
"Hi! I'm Mrs Owens and this is my second year at Brookside. I teach the children in Year 1 and Year 2. I find school a very exciting place to be because we are always busy with different activities and learning new things!"
