Brookside Primary School
Our school is situated in the centre of the popular village of East Leake, close to the Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire borders. The school is set in extensive grounds with two playgrounds and a large playing field. There is also a wildlife area with a pond which supports environmental work throughout school and a school garden which is maintained by children and parent volunteers. The school consists of two buildings; the original village school (built in 1879) and a Clasp Construction block built in 1966. The Victorian school building is now used for music and drama sessions, as well as providing two rooms for our Parent and Toddler groups and our Breakfast and After School clubs.
