Recorders Club
At Brookside, we have two recorder clubs, each one for different abilities. Most children start in Year 3, but any children from Key Stage 2 are able to join. In the weekly sessions we teach basic music theory, note reading and how to play the recorder. We hope children will take some time each week to practise between sessions.
Recorder clubs take place on Wednesday from 12.45pm until 1.00pm.There is a message to confirm this in Assembly. To join you need a recorder and a recorder book (Margon Fagan's 'Play Time', Stage one - Longman's First Recorder Course) which can be bought from most music shops including Just Music in Loughborough.
