Want to be a journalist?

We need you to write interesting articles for our school website. Your writing will then be published on the Brookside News page. Email your reports to Mrs Hallam or hand them in at school.

Interested in being a peacemaker or a play leader?

If you are in Year 4, Year 5 or Year 6, you might be able to become a playground buddy, peacemaker or a play leader. You need to have lots of patience, like spending time with younger children and enjoy solving problems and organising games. If you think that this sounds like your thing, you need to apply in writing. Ask Miss Wiltshire for more details about being a playground buddy or peacemaker and speak to Mr Lowther about being a play leader.

Children's Voices gives you the chance to voice your opinion. Each term we take a topic which is important to you and ask you to tell us about it. In the past we have discussed the learning environment, playtimes and school dinners. If you would like to share your ideas about a particular topic, let us know.
