Brookside Primary School

Brookside is a welcoming and caring community of children, parents, staff and governors.  Together we continually strive to provide a happy and supportive environment in which the unique potential in every child is realised. Our vision is that within a creative curriculum we will enable each child to share the responsibility for becoming independent and confident learners and achievers in a continually changing world.

The Brookside Code

In July 2008 we updated our Brookside Code, incorporating ideas from all children across the school. This is what we agreed upon with the help of the children from the school council:

We are kind, caring and helpful to everybody.
We are happy for other people’s success.
We have fun while being sensible.
We remember to put things back where we found them.
We work hard, try our best and stay positive.
We are truthful and respectful.
